Yggdrasil Loki

It was a very tough labour for mum, but they both made it through and boy was it worth it. This fantastic strapping colt is just super! He is strong, straight, correct and naturally uphill. He is extremely flashy and has a real cheeky attitude, full to the brim with mischief. He will be retained here by us at the stud for the time being.

Loki’s sire, the late Nobodys Harlequin is a superb Knabstrupper stallion and has a huge range of offspring excelling in all disciplines. He brings a great traditional stamp to his foals but they certainly aren’t lacking in athleticism. We are extremely grateful to have been  able to acquire the remaining stock of frozen semen after he was lost to the Knabstrupper community.

His dam, Wendy is a superb mare. She has all the presence and athleticism, is straight and correct and has a beautiful nature. She was presented to the KNN in Denmark at the age of 3 and was awarded a lifetime breeding approval and taking home a overall score of 9, winning best mare and best in show. We are extremely privileged to have her here as part of our breeding programme.
