Isabella Jones Eventing
Isabella Jones is a young British Event Rider. She is involved with most of the training of young horses here at Yggdrasil Stud. She has grown up around horses and been competing from a young age supporting the local Pony Club teams and now the Riding Club qualifying regularly for National Championships.
She has exceptional patience and understanding and has built up a wealth of knowledge around an extensive variety of horses. She enjoys rehabilitation, working with youngsters and here she has the perfect setting with superb facilities.
This season been another great season under her belt. Isabella has started our joint owned 3 year old Knabstrupper gelding, Contender Lynghoj under saddle and he has been perfect so far. Taking everything in his stride and proving great willingness to learn. He's grown up so much over this last year and he is really coming along nicely, we will spend this next winter helping him to gain confidence under saddle then see where the 2023 season will take us with him.
We also have Knabstrupper mare, Jjays St Lucia who has attended another few Events and many many training sessions. She is coming on leaps and bound and showing real potential. She Qualified and attended the BRC National SJ Championships this season and we couldn't be happier with her performance and how she handled the atmosphere this year. We're aiming to take Lucy out to local BSJA classes over this winter, it will be interesting to see how all the SJ training is paying off.
There are more Yggdrasil youngsters with a plan to start the education over the winter so keep your eyes peeled for updates on those and there will be horses in for retraining and plenty of youngsters learning all about being people ponies.
