Contender Lynghoj

Contender, aka Beef was bred in Denmark by the Nornberg’s and we imported him over here to the UK with his dam as a foal at foot. He is a very tall colt with an elegant head, 3 superb, athletic paces and the most tender nature.

He is growing into a superb young man, straight and correct and highly trainable on the ground, he is athletic and uphill and already has such power and presence.

His sire, Dinar is a well proven stallion with many fantastic offspring competing in all disciplines. He is a large stallion of good Oldenburg breeding and has a very loving temperament that is renowned for passing on to his foals. His dam, Wendy is a superb mare. She has all the presence and athleticism, is straight and correct and has a beautiful nature. She was presented to the KNN in Denmark at the age of 3 and was awarded a lifetime breeding approval and taking home a overall score of 9, winning best mare and best in show. We are extremely privileged to have her here as part of our breeding programme.
