Yggdrasil Eirik

A striking and strapping colt foal by Thore. Soo bold and friendly. We cannot wait to see him unfold. He combines some incredible classic foundation Knabstrupper lines with legendary Dressage Hanoverian blood from his dam. An exciting dressage prospect, but would easily excell in any sphere. Eirik has such a layed back attitude and is soo loving and trusting towards people making him very easy to handle.

His sire, Thore, our resident stallion is 100% Origanal Pure Bred Knabstrupper of fantastic classic baroque style with very sought after bloodlines. He is Premium graded by both ZfdP and KNN and was 30day Performance Tested in Germany. Thore stands at 15hh and passes on a great stamp of good bone and powerful confirmation.

His dam, Winnie, by the famous Dressage Champion Weltmeyer who has not only been champion himself, but has won awards as a stallion for his offspring. He is extremely favoured for his ability to produce outstanding broodmares and you will find his name in an incredibly large amount of top Hanoverian dam lines. Winnie is part of a long line of state premium and head stud book Hanoverian mares, she has good, strong confirmation and premium standard gaits that she passes to all of her foals along with a calm laid back nature that makes them extremely friendly and bold foals.

2015: We took Eirik to the UK KNN grading this year, at just 6 weeks old, to be evaluated where he was awarded 1st Premium and won Best Foal in Show with some incredible remarks from the judges. We are over the moon with this result, he really has done us proud.

2016: Eirik was presented again to the UK KNN Grading and was again awarded a premium evaluation, bless his funny gangly growth spurt stage he was going through. He still did amazing and behaved impeccably.

2017: Another presentation to the KNN judges at the UK KNN Grading and he really is doing well. He is growing like a weed, but is developing very nicely indeed. Another Premium for Eirik. Well done to the Edwards Family on a super result.
